reread the manga recently and it’s still one of my favourite series of all time but i’ve always put off the anime because of its pacing issues and the unfaithful character design choices. i gave it a chance and having just reread the manga, the difference in quality between both mediums were visible. but as a fan, seeing all of yumi tamura’s charming characters animated and voiced was so fun. she’s really the master of characterisation, especially with such a large cast of characters and interweaving storylines. also haru and kokuri are the best 😭 my favorite characters i love them so much omg
