Absolute.... Cinema..... 👏🏻 👏🏻 Now I want to retake the college admission test and choose law as my major. /j
I learned a lot from this movie, things about law, new words I’d never heard before, the roles attorneys and prosecutors play in court, and even little details I never noticed. For example, there’s this difference between how Korean and Japanese judges dress. In Juvenile Justice, the Korean judge wears a uniform with a sash and tie, which makes them look super formal and serious. Meanwhile, Japanese judges just wear a plain black robe, it’s simple and more... laid-back.
It’s such a small thing, but it made me wonder if it reflects something about their cultures. Maybe Korean courts are more about tradition and formality, while Japanese ones focus on keeping things straightforward. If you think it through, it also somehow reflects the characteristics of the Japanese and the Korean themselves, does that makes any sense.... ? I think it’s quite crazy how even small details like that can show you a bigger picture.... That’s what I love about movies like this, they make you notice things you’d usually overlook. The copywriting and everything are just, spot on 🤌🏻
