Story: Clark and Michael follows the titled characters as they attempt to pitch their pilot to different networks.
Okay so normally when I review movies/shows/games, I have a good and a bad section. But I feel like for a show like this I need more of a loose structure, because I could honestly nitpick this show to death because there are a lot of technical flaws about this show. For one the pacing is really all over the place, each episode honestly feels like it was written in one draft. But despite this, Clark and Michael is one of the funniest shows on the internet. The dry humor is something that is super rare to find in American media, and the fact that there are so many big actors in this such as Patrick Oswald, David Cross, and Jonah Hill, it goes to show that many of these big names are capable of doing more projects like this. I’ve always liked Michael Cera for films like Superbad and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World but I’ve always associated Clark Duke as Clark from the American Office and in my opinion he was a weak character in that show, but here he’s fantastic and both him and Cera work well off of each other. Both characters are super narcissistic and unlikeable by every stretch of the imagination yet they manage to get you to care about the story and the characters. This is mainly because of how funny these actors are and yet again due to their amazing chemistry with one another. I’m not going to give this a score since it’s more of a recommendation then a review but all 10 episodes are on YouTube and each episode is around 5 to 10 minutes.
Go check out Clark and Michael.
