15 year old me felt so different for watching this instead of one piece 💁‍♀️

what does it mean to be human? what does it mean to live a good life? what responsibility is our life (and death) on others? should we judge a person on their worst moment? are we able to judge others without empathy for them? these are just some of the questions this beautiful series asks, and with compelling characters, gorgeous animation and a brilliant deceivingly episodic structure, it explores these questions with maturity and depth that leaves me in awe. memento mori

Such amazing characters, Character development, World building, and storytelling all wrapped up in 12 damn episodes. It was so addicting that I finished it all in one sitting. I love Decims character so much and I’m sad I won’t get to see what his story will become but it doesn’t feel like a cliff hanger, I’m not sure what it was but I liked the ending a lot.
