I know what a jams are
A 6 part, funny black comedy, incredibly surreal, decently acted and a small dosage of narratives.
Jam came out in the year 2000, a time when many comedies where a bit crap. That's why Superbad or Borat get praised. Surrealism was also going through a bit of a revolution, David Lynch truly becoming David Lynch with Mulholland Drive and Morris managed to merge the two together with his comedy series Jam.
With an excellent soundtrack. This piece of indie filmmaking, feels errie, with recurring characters, in different scenarios, there is a dreamy asthethic to Jam. With high exposure or often times experimental shots, laced with high exposure or often times experimental comedy. It makes for one of the strangest pieces of avant garde film and TV I have seen
