somebody saaaaaaaa-

Terrible, Brilliant, Awful, the best thing ever. Some mad genius sat in a boardroom and said “Buffy but Superman” and someone else said “and my bondage/leather kink” and I think that’s wonderful.

starts as a basic villain of the week superhero show. then randomly around season 4 it turns into this serious character driven drama. then around season 8 the quality declines a bit but it’s still a fun watch. rushed and disappointing finale though so be aware of that, but I feel like the show is more about the journey than it is the destination
