post logging this because i didn't know this was on letterboxd!!
about a year ago, i was going through terrible evil shit. my cat was really sick, my ex had broken up with me in a really shitty way and i was crashing in my aunt's basement looking for new housing. so i did what any responsible adult does and rewatched total forgiveness for the one millionth time. it is always so unfortunate to me that this show has flown under the radar and been outshined by many other (yes higher production) shows. because this is one of the best things to come out of dropout. grant/ally was my fav duo as a collegehumor child so i was easily sold on this before even watching. but this is somehow the most realistic, tender, heartbreaking and reality adjusting thing to come out of these two. holy fuck
