Incendies
I cant seem to stop thinking about this film. Every aspect of this was just outright beautiful. From the actitng to the beautiful scenery and cinematography. Or the deep dark plot or the purity in life itself. I feel as if every time Denis steps behind a camera his is about to change someones life.
This film’s twist truly did make me sick to my stomach. As a son of an amazing mother, watching what unfold, really took a tole on me. This movie is a huge smack in the face of that someone always has it worse. And at the same time everything that is “worse” can also be glorious. Nahid of May was a son of a beautiful carring mother that was not able to be there for him when he needed it the most. Something the mother did and didnt have control over. He was a lost angry sole who found comfort in the wrong things in life.
Something about this movie should speak to everyone. This is a must see and a completely “underrated” film of Denis. This movie affected me way more than i ever thought it would. And again, thank you Denis.
