Sinners
This movie is so good. An original story that is contained and is told well. I went into this knowing little to nothing and that was definitely the way to go. I had no idea how much music was going to be a central theme of this film but it rly elevated it to the next level. It took a vampire action/ period piece and gave it a deeper level. Miles Caton (preacher boy) absolutely crushed that role, especially for being his first film ever he went above and beyond. I rly liked the time skipped after credits; before that I felt the ending was a little undone in a way but that brought it together in the end. The only real complaint I think someone could have abt this story is that it took a while to get going, but it rly was necessary to make u care abt the characters and make u feel like you knew them. Relics was a phenomenal villain, and the overall use of manipulation of the vampires was so well done. Ryan Coogler cooked as always. (Side note: the eras of music scene was perfection, very well done)
