"I am as human as anyone." cause 😭 I'm 😭 a 😭 punk 😭 rocker 😭 yes 😭 I 😭 am 😭 this movie is so genuinely beautiful to me, I love that the main theme is kindness, like guys, yes, I AM super because I'm kind!!!! "I love, I get scared. I wake up every morning, and despite not knowing what to do, I put one foot in front of the other, and I try to make the best choices that I can." I love this movie soso bad because why is every single character such a good representation of people, I know that doesn't make the most sense, but this movie is so humanising, it feels so real and relatable. every character is so genuine and has their own strives and passions, and that is such a beautiful thing, especially when done correctly. the one scene that really set the tone for the whole of this movie was when he saved the squirrel. "I screw up all the time, but that is being human, and that's my greatest strength." genuinely started shaking a little at the end with "do you want me to play the video of your parents", and it was his adoptive parents, not his birth parents, that was genuinely what made this movie for me. "and someday, I hope, for the sake of the world, you understand that it's yours too." everyone is so different, but one thing that doesn't differentiate us is humanity. kindness is the most beautiful thing in the world; it costs absolutely nothing to be kind.
