Save us Dev Patel in Monkey man, save us! The amount of times I said “woah, that was an amazing shot” is crazy, Jordan Peele never misses from that producer chair. They jam packed this film with so much culture and yet I never once thought it was too much, I think my favourite part was when they shot the dresses flowing in slow motion during such a gruesome scene. Absolutely breathtaking. This film brought such a fresh perspective into the “bloody action” genre, Dev Patel was such an amazing silent and mysterious protagonist I hope to see him in many more projects whether they’re alike this one or not.
