Obsession

While I don’t have much horror movie experiences, I can confidently say this one FUCKED me up the most. At the beginning I was all like “oh my brother just another me being a hopeless romantic and such” but things just take turn for the worse so quick. My heart feels twisted and stabbed over and over from the tension, I genuinely CRIED out of fear from the very beginning. It’s so unsettling how Inde and Michael have such amazing chemistry and their acting is top tier. I loved the way the film played with the shadows to show how nikki was like a shadow of herself as she scurried about, if you will. The eyes just show so much. It’s crazy too how as the movies goes along you notice how the bear ends up being the true antagonist of the film when you really think it through. Unfortunately, my friend and I had to watch in the front row but ultimately I do not think it took anything away from the film overall. Sarah was also such a nice character and I had a feeling she liked bear from a start, and it all culminated in that unforgettable car scene with nikki intruding. I love that is ultimately is an evil you don’t see nor is revealed. Also some really funny beats here and there. What a tragedy of a movie, they deserve all the flowers and love and please don’t hurt cats in anyway shape or form again curry baker that was so cruel and bro.
