Hot Fuzz

This movie is an abosult blast from start to end. Edgar Wright really knows how to make comedies, I think what makes his movie different from the other comedies is how serious he takes the genre and I don't mean just the filming and the craft that he brings into the movie but also how the plot also does so, having certain more serious themes underlying the plot at moments while not diverting away from the comedy genre that it is sent to be. The movie also cleverly diverts from the usual trope of killers in movies cuz I 100% believed that the anderson's would be the killers (scream 1)seeing as the how the plot of this movie had pop culture references to point break, bad boys and other films. While it might not still be considered a great plot twist I think this movie does it better than others. Also when the conversation and banter between Angel and Danny goes full circle during the climax fight is is just too much fun, I fucking loved this movie
