Freddie's journey from trauma and a lack of purpose if fulfilled by a movement he becomes a part of and he is gradually able to come to terms with his life and the loss of his sweetheart from his life and find acceptance and move on. Every scene between Phoenix and Hoffman is acting at the finest level and constantly keeps you drawn into the story.
