I really love this movie, I can’t exactly describe why since I didn’t grow up in the 90’s but what I’ve seen from my mom’s and aunt’s old videos and stuff they did a great job at capturing that vibe in this film. The smallest thing like the shirts they were or the music that plays really adds to that. The performances are also on point and it’s even more incredible that a lot of the main cast weren’t actors. I believe it already has and will continue to be one of the best coming of age films that goes down with some of the classics.
