The Illusionist
Not nearly as good as The Prestige. Must have sucked for The Illusionist that the two movies came out the same year. Wasn’t really romanced by the magic and missed the magic in the romance, ya know? Sometimes, with the filter and the vignette, it kinda I felt like I was watching really long perfume ad through a 2014 instagram filter.
Also, was it just me or were the Austrian accents a little tough?
But can I just say, Paul Giamatti. What an absolute weapon. The highlight of everything he’s in. And can I also just say RUNNN YOUNG AARON TAYLOR JOHNSON! GET AWAY WHILE YOU STILL CAN! THERE’S NO TIME TO LOSE!
