Star Wars

I don't necessarily call myself a Star Wars fan, partially because of the baggage associated with that label and partially because I haven't watched anything new from the franchise since the second season of The Mandalorian released. I do, however, have a lot of fondness for the franchise and the original trilogy in particular. I'm too young to have experienced the moment when they first released but I did grow up on tv recordings of these movies, as well as the sequel trilogy and especially the Clone Wars TV show. My favorite of the bunch always were the original movies. There's a magic to them that nothing else in the franchise quite captures. This one is just a classic. It's perfectly paced to the second and just the right amount of campy. I definitely was overdue for a rewatch.
