The Batman

Let's start off by saying this, I know it must be hard being the next big superhero movie after no way home.... but man COME ON This movie is so confusing and tedious. I can't figure out why there is so much hype. My experience may have been dampened because I saw it with a friend, but still. We were watching it at the start, having a few laughs and we missed one line. ONE LINE and the whole movie keeps going on. And we're confused on what's happening. You want to know why we missed the line? The most important line? The acting. The way they talk in such a dark and brooding way isn't doing anyone favours. And you wanna know something else? It happens every. Single time. Every SINGLE time a line is said, the actors think it's an amazing idea to talk so quietly that we have no idea what's going on. And the bullshit plot. What even happened? The mystery isn't even that good, my friend and I were almost yelling "HIS NEXT TARGET IS BRUCE WAYNE, HOW DIDNT YOU FIGURE IT OUT". And the climax, Jesus. Batman just finds out "oh the city's getting flooded". And it does. And nothing interesting happens. Really? This is what the movie was leading up to? This three hour mess? I must say, there are some good things. I mean, I said twice "dam this score is popping" but idk if it was because I was trying to sound cool. And the riddler. OMG THE RIDDLER. I smiled every time he was on screen, the only truly great thing about this movie. My friend kinda ruined him for me because she said he looked like this crusty dude in my class. Which was funny but sad because it was true. But all in all, I don't reccomend this movie. Not even to the dead. Robert Patterson porn would've been better.
