Unforgiven
I'm not sure why the first time I watched this film I didn't like it, I guess it seemed a little bit boring to me but holy shit I couldn't been more wrong.
To begin with, I think it is one of the best westerns ever made because of how it makes a (I suppose) realistic exploration of the time. I think the shootings and the stories could not be more real and raw, the characters shoot when their opponent is distracted, unarmed or when they are drunk and I think that is something very logical and very well thought out, because let's be honest, no one would risk their life in an "honorable" shootout in order to collect a reward that you can collect in a much simpler and less risky way.
Also, the film is fucking well done, the performances, the script, the sound, the soundtrack, the direction, everything is just fucking well done and I don't want to go much further into the last 25 minutes, those 25 minutes are a masterpiece of Western and cinema in general.
