Election
I was not expecting to like this one as much as I did, but here we are. Simply putting it, I think Matthew Broderick is better here then in Ferris Bueller. He's able to to play a relatively bad person, but at the same time you're able to sympathize with him when you consider Tracy Flick and her strategies she uses in the movie. Reese Witherspoon played Tracy Flick way too well, and really helps give some underlying messages to an already very good satire movie. Very deserving of it's status in the criterion collection, and I'll stand by my belief that it's better then Ferris Bueller.
