This movie brings the King of Pop back to Life. Michael Jackson’s essence was brought to screen through the incredible and speechless performance by Jaafar. He did Justice to the role.
Before people complain. This is a 2-part movie. What everyone wants to see, will most likely be covered in the Second part.
This movie starts off with Michael’s childhood up until 1988.
For people like me who could never experience the greatest artist to walk the earth, this is the perfect replica of Michael.
The movie really explains a lot about Michael indirectly. People want the details to be directly and openly explained. However the movie is extremely detail oriented. There is imagery and symbolism throughout the film that tell you more about Michael or his motivations. But those things will be visible if one researches enough about Michael. Such as consistent references to Peter Pan and Neverland. There are too many details to cover in just a movie so I think they did it right.
This movie wasn’t made for critiques, it was made for fans to experience and revive Michael. It felt like a concert. Before people complain about the plot…..this is a biopic, not a made up movie. If you don’t feel like it’s a “good movie” you’re already missing the point.
I think this movie clearly shows the type of person Michael was. The performances were outstanding, it felt like a real live concert. This movie makes you speechless. Jaafar was the only one who could do this.
Shoutout to the makeup team, there were plenty of moments that made jaafar look exactly like Michael.
This is a movie I would watch 5 times in the theatres.
