Me at the function to anyone who will listen: “Spider-Man 2. Greatest superhero film ever. Strong contender for greatest movie ever. Greatest end credits needle drop ever. Perfectly encapsulates the zeitgeist of 2004 while still being so timeless. Have you heard Yellowcard’s Gifts and Curses that was on the soundtrack and was made for the credits but the studio chose Vindicated and Ryan Key hates Chris Carrabba for it? It’s lowkey one of the best songs ever made. The build up into the guitar solo is crazy. Should’ve been in the film instead of Train. You Know I’ve seen this shit like 5 times. Each time it’s just as good as the last. I think what makes the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films so special is how the city of New York and it’s people feel like a character in its own right. The MCU ones have no sauce. Spider-man is just like me fr. Did you know they’re making a lego set of the train scene? It’s just so peak”
