Vanilla Sky

A film that almost feels like it was made for me in a lab. Something deeply relatable about it, watching an ozymandias-type spiralling into a pit of self-hatred, escaping into an idealised world underpinned by indie pop-cultural references. While it doesn't exactly land in all places, I still found it really quite special.
