Spider-Man

Sam Raimi's Spider Man 1 is a gold standard for superhero origin stories. I just can't get where did we go wrong that these movies come few and far between nowadays. What a shame. Love the introduction to all the characters and I love the little details in colores and house interior. I don't really care that Tobey Maguire looks a little old for a teenager, I already got used to it, everything about this movie feels like home, like coming home after a hard day and turning it on just for a good watch. this scene where Peter first tries to climd the wall, THE SAUCE omg. I remember trying to climb the walls in my apartment with my brother, it's soooo nostalgic Just watched the with great power comes great responsibility scene, it is hands down the best uncle Ben. It feels that this movie is made with love, everything is so comforting about this movie These old spider man movies have this strange sense of comfort, warmth, I keep coming back and rewatching them to feel it again. I fell in love with Tobey Maguire's spider man movies as a child, and I will love them forever.
