so much to dissect with this film, i think i could rewatch it over and over and find something new to focus on. nino rota's score, all the camera movements, fellini's insane usage of black and white are perfection. the scenes themselves are so magical. not an unpopular opinion at all but the harem scene (rip guido you would've loved highschool dxd...) was the moment i decided the film was a 10/10. the unravelling of an intense, restless character psyche and an exhibition of domestic fantasies is presented through surreal chaotic sequences, dance numbers and some quite scary commentary on patriarchal (guido's specifically) ideals. love love love, really need to rewatch in the future!!!
