High and Low

kurosawa is a master of social commentary and posing moral dilemma's for the viewers!!! loved how it was structured into two parts, one focusing on gondo's personal dilemma before splitting into the police hunt and a wider view of post-war, poverty stricken japan. some incredible sequences and music, love love love. also i got so distracted reading a good article about this film on the way home i went 6 stops past where i was meant to get off.
