Pixar Cry Counter: 11
This is quite literally a masterpiece. By far Pixar's most serious and deep film ever made.
To have a company that mainly targets families as an audience this was such a surprise to see. To bring up topics like death, propose of living, and find priorities in life. Is such a serious tone that no one was expecting I'm sure.
Just the line "I'm just afraid if I die today, that my life would've amounted to nothing." Is like a bombshell it's such a dark and serious thing to say and I love it so much. No kid will understand the importance of that line but any older person will.
I think Jamie Foxx is actually such a great casting decision for this, I think he did a great job in this role, I also love the look of this move specifically the stuff in the great beyond and the zone, the city stuff and on earth stuff is fine.
The message of this movie in my opnion is soooo good, I truly believe there is no one purpose to anyones life, your life is what you make it to be whether it's wanting to become rich, or an artist, or just surround yourself with a loving family, go chase that goal, and enjoy every second you get of this gift we call life.
