Lost Highway

A film so intriguing with its intertwined plots that it doesn’t need to make complete sense or fill in all the gaps in information. The beginning had me hooked with its almost horror esque story. Then, we get to see almost a thriller in the middle. Finally, the end too had me on the edge of my seat while trying to piece together the events I watched unfold. The combining of genres and plot lines works uncannily well and tells my favorite Lynch narrative so far. Not to mention the awesomely engaging cinematography, effects and lighting. Having just seen Mulholland Drive I see some parallels in not only the narrative structure, but in some of the symbols and styles Lynch chooses to use. A great ride backed by a great score and soundtrack.
