I know I’m in the minority by rating this 5 stars, but on my second viewing I think it cements it for me. This movie is just so genuine and wholesome. While it’s by no means perfect, it makes up for it through its ability to show how deeply they all really care for each other. I think using actual skaters instead of just actual actors really adds a feeling of realness to this. It’s a movie that really just warms my heart.  It also has some really interesting film making elements, specifically the crash scene was really impressive. I also believe Trent Reznor can do no wrong because every score absolutely hits every time.
