Apocalypse Now
Americans will massacre your countrymen like animals and then write movies about how sad that made them. It sucks, but goddamn me if this one isn't one of the best films I've ever seen. It's visual language is unparalleled, the visuals melting into each other like a slow hellfire, everything flashing and spinning like a scream made of images, wow.
A slow descent into the madness of war, where every feeling is heightened and people lose themselves to their real selves. The immersion is wonderful, the narration given by Martin Sheen chilling, and every character interesting in its own right with an amazing set of actors. The soundtrack just adds more fuel for this fantastic dreamy blaze of a movie, everything is great.
The horrors unleashed upon vietnamese civilians and so many other countries will never be forgotten. Fuck the capitalist and imperialist american war machine.
