Ahsoka

Sometimes even the right reasons have the wrong consequences.I personally didn’t have as many problems as others may have had. I do think that visually the show, like the other Live-Action Disney+ outings of the franchise, looks pretty bad for most of it.  However, story wise I think it falls behind Star Wars: Andor and becomes the second best LA D+ Original from the galaxy far far away.  Whilst my thoughts on Rosario Dawson’s casting had improved with each episode, I still think going for the popular fan cast has hurt the show massively. I’m on the team that the show should’ve been animated and started with Ahsoka’s and Sabine’s relationship for the first season, then let the second season be this one and the third one whatever they have planned.  It is a flaw of the show that many big and impactful moments don’t work if you’ve not seen neither Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars:Rebels. A lot of payoffs and character traits only work or make senses with the added context of approximately 11 seasons of storytelling and that ain’t good for any media. But anyways, don’t let these comments fool you. I personally really liked the show, don’t know if it’s my connection and feelings towards any of these characters or or just that I simply loved the story, but I loved the show. Yes, there’s a lot to improve if/when they make season two.
