Moving

“Moving” stands as a truly exceptional film. It is astonishing that this remarkable film remained largely unknown in the Western world for approximately three decades. Had it not been, it would undoubtedly be regarded as one of the greatest films ever made. Shinji Somai’s film ‘Moving’, tells an incredibly nuanced coming of age story about a young girl coping with her parents divorce and the loneliness that brings. There are many stories and films about this subject, yet I am inclined to say this may be the best one. I strongly recommend that everyone witness this beautiful film.
