Frankenstein
I was so excited for this movie since it was announced. Originally, Andrew Garfield was playing the creature, but he got replaced by Jacob Elordi. At that moment, I thought Andrew was better. I didn't think Jacob was that good, but now, after watching the movie, I can't even imagine Andrew as the creature. Jacob Elordi was so perfectly cast! What a peak performance by him. He deserves an Oscar for this performance, and I hope he gets it next year for this movie. He totally deserves it. I usually praise movies while watching them, but this time I was completely speechless. I didn't say a single word while watching this movie. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, truly beautiful and beyond perfection. This movie teaches us a lot; it has everything you want from a movie. Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein was truly perfect. Every single actor was perfect in this one, and Mia Goth too! I was not expecting her to be so good in this one; she surprised me. She was literally perfect. I love you, Guillermo Del Toro! He proved again why he's my favorite director of all time, a truly brilliant person. I really hope this movie wins some Oscars next year. This movie shows us two perspectives: Victor's perspective and the creature's perspective. The second half focuses on the creature's perspective, and it was truly beautiful. I don't know how to explain it to you, but there was a different feeling and connection watching the creature and the old man. They moved me. This movie moved me and changed me completely. The movie is also so emotional, and the ending as well as the opening scene goes so hard. This movie engaged us from the start to the end. Only Guillermo Del Toro can do this. Now, it's one of my favorite movies of all time
