saw this less than 12 hours ago in Lincoln Center and it is a fever dream in the best possible way. Mikey Madison is an absolute FORCE and took Ani through so many emotions while maintaining her fiery core. Karren Karagulian (Toros) masterfully maneuvered from hilarious chaos to delivering  sobering truths to Ani. Yura Borisov (Igor) gave us so much with such subtlety and nuance, an absolute scene stealer. Igor’s compassion for Anora emanates from him without a single word spoken. Literally every person in this small cast delivered. This movie was like a roller coaster if the tracks were made of wood and could collapse at any moment but you’re already on for the ride. And when you manage to finally pull back into the station, you can’t wait to ride again. Absolutely exhilarating.
