Hamnet
Hamnet is an incredible film. It is one of the best and saddest movie experiences I have ever had. It may even be the best cinema experience of my life. It has been now couple days since I saw it and i cannot stop thinking about it. The film stays in my mind and heart.
This movie shows loss and love in a very beautiful and gentle way. It doesnt try to explain everything with words. Instead it lets silence, images and feelings speak. The story is told slowly and that makes it even more powerful. The quiet and calm style is amazing and very moving.
The film is extremely well made. Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley give beautiful and heartbreaking performances. Their acting feels real and deep and they carry the emotional weight of the story perfectly. This film deserves many oscars for its performances, writing and cinematography.
Hamnet understands grief deeply. It shows how love remains even after great loss. For me this is one of the best films of the 2020s and movie I will remember forever.
