It is the first weapon drawn in a conflict." beautiful, haunting, astounding, grand, human. might be best sci-fi movie of all time. definitely one of my top 10 favorite movies ever. gets so much better on rewatch. you start to feel like you’re the one learning the alien language, experiencing the events of the movie like Louise experiences her whole life. Because now you already know what’s coming, yet you still choose to live it again, just like she does. “If you could see your whole life from start to finish, would you change things?
