Anora
I feel like this Ani is such a good example of how a lot of men portray women as some sexual object to be tossed around, and it came to the point that, in her case, she forgot how to interact with a man amicably without it being sexual or intimate. I feel when she thought that she finally found someone who'd treat her right and love her properly, she held onto that delusion even when it was clear his only intention of marrying her was to fuck her more often. Although he was the one to rush the marriage, she ended up being the one to try to salvage it; when Ani realized that, that's what broke me the most. This film was fucking amazing, it better have some nominations.
