it’s a perfect film in the way apocalypse now is a perfect film in that you’re so engrossed by the performances, the sets, and the soundtrack that the three hours just slip away and any mistakes or rough moments mean nothing compared to the final product. i really noticed the editing this time and got to focus more on tom hulce’s performance which was just incredible. rewatching this is such a treat and i would kill to see this in theaters. please rerelease or i’m going to sue
