Heat
“Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner."During the Q&A before the film, Mann said that he viewed this film as a drama, rather than for example a thriller or action movie or what have you. Viewing through that lens this rewatch made an already incredible film even more enjoyable. It’d be redundant for me to say how good Pacino and DeNiro are in this film, this is just something we know. Much more atmospheric and more romantic than I remember, at least during the Neil/Edie scenes. The beautiful restoration they screened adds to all of this.
“This crew is good.”
