I just wanna go home.”Giamatti shines as usual, I really like his performance in this and I find the neuroticism of the characters he often plays, here included, to be incredibly relatable personally. I absolutely hated Church’s character but I imagine that’s the right read. Finds a striking balance between funny, heartfelt, dreadful and dreary, which is something I really enjoyed about Payne’s *The Holdovers too. Great stuff.*
