Interstellar
i’ve watched this movie three times. once in theaters where i was six and didn’t understand anything. second time was in middle school for science class. third was after a really bad night of difficult feelings around loneliness
this movie is the best written piece of fiction i might have ever consumed. it gets better every single time i watch it. every single scene is gorgeous, the classic nolan playing with time is compelling at the very least and at most the best i’ve ever seen in anything. this might be insane glaze but i feel like interstellar deserves it. i just wish it made me cry, because something of this caliber especially with this score and these visuals really should inspire some genuine tears. alas, i am not yet a parent. once i am, i will be a ghost of my child’s future.
