dare i rewatch this movie for the 3rd time, this movie is truly my roman empire slowburn type silent yearning romance will always be my favorite genre, i love how they express their feelings just through eye contact. they’re both in denial but you can clearly see it in their eyes. the tension is obvious. they don’t say much, but you can feel everything building between them their slow burn is full of misinterpretation and pride. they both care, but they keep misunderstanding each other and holding back. it’s frustrating but also really intense to watch and then when they finally admit their feelings and get that tiny chance to be together, that little blonde bitch aka saoirse ronan ruin everything, dont get me wrong i love saoirse ronan but her character here is so bitch ass and the actual rapist, he just slips through everything like a shadow in the background while the wrong person pays the price. i hate grapist
