Phantom Thread

this is the fourth time i’ve watched this film, but truly it’s the first. previous times i couldn't get through it. i wasn't focused, the timing wasn't right, and i gave up before the first fifteen minutes, just before the breakfast order scene. i knew this film was worth it, that i had to immerse myself in it completely. and wait for the perfect moment. i was afraid of going back too quickly to it, of seeming like i was forcing it. so i waited, and waited, and waited. and then finally, i decided to watch it. to the fullest.  oh my.
