27 Dresses
this was one of those movies that made me feel everything from laughter to a little ache in the heart. I loved how it shows the struggle of always being there for others while forgetting to put yourself first. I really connected with Jane’s character. She’s sweet, selfless, and quietly strong, but sometimes she hides behind the role of the “helper” instead of chasing what she really wants.
SOMEONE BRING ME MY KEVIN!! I MISS MY FUTURE HUSBAND 😭😭
what I loved most was how real the story felt, even with all its romantic comedy moments.
“-What’s your favorite part about weddings?-When the music starts, and the bride comes, i watch at the groom, to watch the real love, passion in his eyes.”
“-There needs to be one thing you like about the weddings.-Free drinks.both laughs-For some reason when the bride comes, i like to see the stupid and idiot groom.”
THEY SHARE THE SAME PART!!
the chemistry between the characters, the humor, and the emotional moments especially the one where she finally stands up for herself hit hard in the best way.
“-Kevin, be happy, you have what you wanted.”
“I got the things I wanted, It’s just not what I imagined.”—Olivia Rodrigo.
It reminded me that it’s okay to want your own happy ending. That you don’t always have to be the one fixing everything for everyone else. Sometimes, it’s your turn to shine.
