Sentimental Value

i’m all choked up! my most anticipated movie of the year, rightfully so. i literally got punched in the gut this is so emotional. every performance is stand out especially my queeeeen renate. i’m dissapointed the sister isn’t shown more in the trailer because she had such an important supporting role in the movie. i loved her so much. stellan skarsgard is so good in this character. same with elle fanning. i loved how seriously she took the role. her sidekicks were so funny like such a jab at americans/media people  i loved it. loved how it flashed to the past and future a little bit especially learning about gustavs mother. the blank screen between each scene is a perfect time to breath. i really don’t know how joachim planned this all out. it lowkey goes all over the place but not in a bad way at all.theres also some super funny moments in this.  i just love nora as a character she is so tragic. and the early scene of her being nervous to go on stage. every sister scene was so good i just loved seeing them together, but the one near the end got my ass!!! cried so hard. and the ending is just wowwwwwwwwww. ugh. and labi siffre oh you’re kidding. chicness all around like such simple clothes but such taste! scandinavia. will need to possibly go back to the theater to see this again.
