The Master

i get why this is objectively one of the best PTAs. probably the best and most talented cast ever lead by two of the best actors of the generation.  freddie really reminds me of lockjaw cuz of all his ticks and the physicality of his performance. also so similar to arthur fleck. i loved the scene where john more is arguing with the master and ur waiting so long for him to respond and then PIG FUCK. i also loved the little scene where freddie is at his job taking pictures of people. they styled those people so well to the era. laura dern has the same softness and warmth to her character as marmie in little women. PSH is the goat he looks so cool riding a motorcycle. amy adams has such a good reserved performance. they make the water look so blueeee in this. the clarinet in the score is standout.
