The Fall

Third time watching it and it's still just as beautiful as the first time. I don't know what it is about this movie, but when Roy decides to live because of the love Alexandria has shown him there's not a dry eye in my room 😭😭 I love that Roy was using the characters from the movie he was making to tell his story but Alexandria was picturing them as the people around her. Child-like wonder is something we lose sometimes as we grow older, which is kinda sad. I'm so glad that we still have films that remind us that we shouldn't. The world is as bleak as it is, a little epic fantasy from time to time doesn't hurt... And if it has an eyeliner wearing Lee Pace 😍? Even better. As someone described him in their review: he is otherworldly ✨
