so excited to watch literally anything else…for the rest of my life! the rest of my life is abt to be SO FREE because i’ll be safe and have the choice to not watch that again. actually i think if i ever end up in the bad place this might be part of my curated hell. it was pretty good though.

this was such an attempt at making something but the problem is it doesn’t actually say anything feminist because its target audience are the male chauvinists who are literally never gonna watch it; it doesn’t actually represent a matriarchy it’s just men but with boobs and vaginas which isn’t really making a real point besides “men can only empathize with women once they’ve felt dehumanized by their own actions.” veronica agrees.

i read this book (by louis sachar the absolute slayer!!!) as a kid but i’d never watched the movie and i was inspired by kyle and kamilla from survivor 48 to watch it but anyway those two boys were in love we absolutely love to see it and louis sachar also wrote the screenplay so this is lit
