Barbie

hi barbie! i might cry writing this review, but like, this was fantastic. even the heart is pink 💗 agh. the cast, the SOUNDTRACK (like, there was a tame impala song omg), the message, the performances, the everything. i manage to go with my cousin (it's is almost impossible to make plans with her cause she is una pesada) to the cines renoir in centre madrid, as always, so it was a really cool plan. the movie. for me, the cast is a really important factor in order to me getting "attached" to it in a weird way. like, for me to consider a movie a comfort one. something like that. and having actors from skins, the sisterhood of the travelling pants, my mad fat diary, sex education to michael cera is fantastic (obviously many more). not to mention dua lipa and mr. john cena. aka excuse me. i think it's a really powerful movie from a really original and unique perspective, having an amazing director like greta gerwig and having breathtaking actors and amusing moments, but also really strong and meaningful speeches. it is definitely an experience i want to go through once more. well, again and again. i was afraid cause my standars were really high, like, i've waiting for this movie a looooong time, but it didn't disappoint me in any way. maaaybe i wanted a little bit more of alan, but that's okay. see you soon, barbie!
