Moonlight
the loneliness of being queer. this movie shattered my heart in a billion pieces.
specially the second act, ii. chiron, those teenage years in which you feel so small and so misunderstood. that hit home :')
also, for me, the principal issues that the movie deals with are appearances and masculinity, which is something that the cinematic industry lacks of, and that is one of the reasons why this movie deserves everything.
the way the main character is portrayed is splendid. it enables you to see this little boy, who grew into a big and strong man, but, at the end, he still was that little child who loved to be by the sea.
